Forest bathing- Mine Woods

Had a walk through Mine woods this afternoon.

To day this is known as  – “forest bathing” after the Japanese “Shinrin-yoku” meaning “ taking in the forest atmosphere”.

It was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine.

And now it’s spreading to the UK.
Impressive claims are made for it. On the other hand – you can just enjoy a walk in the woods. I do.
